Transitional Living Program

Diverse, Inclusive, Accepting, Welcoming, Safe Space, For Everyone

The Transitional Living Program provides apartment and host home living opportunities to homeless youth 16-21 years old for up to 18 months. The program provides residential and non-residential services that promote the safety, permanency, and self-sufficiency for runaway, homeless youth and young adults who cannot live safely with a parent, legal guardian, or relative, and who have no other safe, alternative living arrangement. Program staff facilitate healing and recovery, and promote the social and emotional well-being of youth who have experienced homelessness, neglect, exposure to violence, human trafficking, and trauma. Our programming uses a positive youth development approach to provide youth with supportive services. Each youth enrolled in the Transitional Living Program will develop a comprehensive, youth-centered service plan to assist them to transition to sustainable, healthy living.

While in the program youth will receive life skills training, intensive case management services, and access to counseling and support groups. This program is voluntary, free, and confidential.
